Springhill Suites By Marriott New York Midtown Manhattan/Fifth Avenue – Hotel near airport in New York

The hotel is a mixed bag. While the rooms are a little smaller than what I'm used to and don't offer much space to move around, they do boast a perfect view of the Empire State Building. The service, on the other hand, was wonderful and the staff went above and beyond, especially with helping me out with the bill and arranging a cab for my early morning departure. The location is a strong point, being very good with easy access to key attractions like Grand Central Station, Times Square, Empire State Building, and Macy's. The dining experience with an array of breakfast options was much appreciated and saved me time and money in the mornings.

The hotel had rooms with great views of the Empire State, but my stay was a bit cramped and noisy. However, the room was clean and well-organized for the space provided, with all the essentials like a mini-fridge, coffee machine, and microwave. The bathroom was good, and everything was kept neat.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and offered a fantastic view of the Empire State Building from the 9th floor, making me feel like I was truly on holiday. The service was top-notch with friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect for exploring many tourist spots, and the view of the Empire State Building from the 11th and 12th floors was breathtaking. The dining experience had its ups and downs but overall added to my stay.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant with a few drawbacks. The rooms were a bit small, especially the bathroom, but it wasn't a major issue since I didn't spend much time in the room. However, the size was a concern for all the guests, and it was disappointing to have to eat from plastic plates and cutlery in a hotel at this price point.

The hotel may not be perfect as the rooms are small, and breakfast is very poor, but it's adorable and well-appointed. The service was excellent, especially with accommodating a guide dog and being very helpful. The location is superb, close to key attractions and public transportation, offering a quiet retreat. The dining experience, although not top-notch, had good food choices. Overall, a cozy stay with a few minor hiccups.
